Guardian Nest 101: FEL GUARDIAN

FINAL BOSS: FEL GUARDIAN

Root Attack – Casts a dark tinged shadow on the ground which indicates an impending smash. Attack can either be frontal, sides of at the back. Move away as much as possible in the dark markings as a slam occurs right after the mark. Hits hard and can clear buffs and also lowers your damage for a couple of seconds (30-35s if I remember).

Dark Suction – Draws all players near him (all over the map) and deals heavy amount of damage when hit. Blows two (2) times when hit. Run away and avoid getting into the circle.

Spear Throw + Dash – Turns into target player and Boss steps backward then throws his spear and then he dashes. Can hit players even if it is too far from him. Deals death when hit, splash explosion can also cause massive damage e.g. hit on the sides. Safe place would be the left side as the boss is holding his spear on his right. Easy to assume target as the boss will face into the targeted player. Move to sides to avoid getting hit.

Claw Swipe + Spear – left claw swipe then followed by a right straight spear. Deals huge damage when hit. Tumble to the left side (boss’ perspective) to avoid getting hit,
also avoids being followed up by the right straight spear.

Forest Burn Attack – Boss teleports himself to the middle of the map
and a bar appears in your window.

Boss will cast aerial attack at first so better don’t jump during this phase. Attack the boss till the Bar (light blue) depletes its armor indicator to cancel the wipe out skill. Always move around as the boss will continue to cast Root Attack.

Triple Attack – Most tricky part of the attacks. Fast casting speed, attacks either Air or Ground. Releases three (3) consecutive attacks in a random manner e.g. air-ground-air, air-air-air, ground-ground-ground, ground-air-ground and etc. When hit ones, the next attack has high percentage of hitting you again. Has high damage and mostly the cause of death to lag/delay players.

Attack can be read by its motion. When boss attacks the air, he puts his hand close to the ground like charging down from below then pushes the force into the air.
Just stay still when he uses this attack.

When boss attacks the ground, he raises both of his hands and slams down the ground. Once you see his hands are raise, immediately jump to avoid getting hit. Use only normal jump, too much air time can cause delay and might be the reason get hit from the next attack.

Boss attacks at x3 HP

Charge Dash + Ground Hit + Bubble Drop – Additional skill is added from the normal Dash + Ground hit. It adds a bubble drop with a dark purple indicator (shown above) when boss HP reaches x3. It casts 2 bubbles after hitting the ground;
animation would be like twirling his spear above his head as the bubbles drop from it targeting the purple indicator. Run around the area as he smashes the ground.
Probable targets are near the boss. Additional attack is added during x2 HP.

Boss at x2 HP

Charge Dash + Ground Hit + Bubble Drop + Stomp – this is the additional attack as mentioned above after bubble drop; boss raises his frontal legs and stomps. AOE is the whole map,
 deals very huge damage.
Attack is easy to read as it chains its movement to one another making it easy to predict.
Jump when he starts to raise his legs.

AOE Charge – Boss cast dark vines all over the area. Safe place would be the area in front of him. Immediately run into the safe zone. Explosion deals death when hit. After explosion, move into the sides to avoid getting smashed up in the front as the boss will slam his spear in front of him after the AOE charge explosion.

Avoid luring the boss into the corner as he might cast this skill facing the wall, making it unable to hide.

Notes:

Most of my runs, circling around the boss in a counter-clockwise manner helps a lot in avoiding most of his skills like spear throw and swipe attacks. Also, never ever stand in the boss’ rear as he can do tail swipe (which I was unable to put it up) as it cause huge damage. Always assume that boss can do 1 hit skills (even if they’re not) for a safer gameplay.  Do hit and run tactic and always watch the boss movement to be able to react quickly when he cast those skills.

Guardian Nest 101: Ignacio Gigante

Boss 4 : Ignacio Gigante

Ground Lasers – Cast red dots in the ground then releases a ray of laser upwards.
Avoid stepping into the dot.

Lightning Breathe – Charges its mouth and releases a lightning attack,
stay at the side to avoid getting hit.

Lightning Balls – cast four (4) balls of lightning and spreads into sides.
Can cause electrocute when hit. Stay within the balls to avoid getting hit.

Combo Smash – First hit can cause stun effect and does a succeeding blows.
Hits hard when combo lands. Easy to predict, just move to the side.

Lightning Relic – Summons a relic which causes electrocute status when hit.
Releases 2 relics on the field and will serve as a shield (figure below) later on.

Charge – When the two relics are drop, in a matter of second (usually after drop+drop+dash), boss casts thunder attack that can wipe out players all over the area. Safe place would be the area glowing behind the relic (linear position from the boss). Hide till the casting is done.

Binding Relic – Casts a relic that can bind players all over, immediately destroy the relic before binding occurs. Bind activation is delayed within 10seconds before activating.

Guardian Nest 101: Great Zuks Ars

Boss 3 : Great Zuks Ars

Boss is invulnerable in the start, kill 5 mages (right side of the boss) to remove its shield.
Vulnerability lasts about 15-20s then the shield covers again.

Ice Field – Boss slowly raises its left arm and slams the ground with an ice field.
High damage and can cause freeze status.
Run to the boss’ left side (boss perspective) to avoid getting hit as AOE splashes to the right side.

Dual Claw Swipe+Jump (frontal attack) – stay on the side to avoid being damage.

Bite + throw – very small damage, can cause silence after being thrown.

Ice Release – cast and throws a bulk of ice which travels almost half of the map, attack is repeated three (3) times. High damage and can cause freeze status. Dodge from side to side to avoid getting hit. Also, agro player must lure to the wall in order to reduce the line of damage that might deter party members. Can be blocked by Saints’ relics and FU’s mirror.

Boss jumps very high and lands on target, has very high damage
but can easily noticeable because of its white indication on the ground.
Immediately run to avoid getting hit.

Guardian Nest 101: Green Sage Oguru

Boss 2 : Green Sage Oguru

Suction Orb – draws players into the orb. Move away from the orb.
Area of attack is only inclusive within the black circle markings shown in the ground.
Players away from it are not affected.

Triple orb release – throws three green orbs that explodes on contact, attack pattern is right, left, center (boss’ perspective).
East to avoid and can be blocked by Saints’ relics.

Mirror Image – casted every end of the bar, find the real boss and attack it.
Boss can easily distinguish with its grayish appearance.

Stomp - Fast casting skill, boss grows larger then jump and stomps the ground.
Hits hard and can cause one time kill when hit on the center.
Watch the boss carefully, and jump when the boss’ jumps too.

Triple Orb Attack – cast three small orbs (like an FU) into different direction. Hits hard when cornered.

Frog Minions – A warning message appears and a bunch of lined frogs
march together across the map, has huge armor breaking hit.
Stay alongside of the map to avoid being damaged.

Clear Buffs – Releases a green aura around him and all surrounding characters within 1 meter radius will be hit, no damage taken when hit but clears all buffs.

Guardian Nest 101: Angry Aira Venom

Boss 1 : Angry Aira Venom

·         The area comprises a number of tiles in a 4x4 manner.

·         A number of tiles glows into purple and is a sign on an impending burst attack

Boss attacks a cone shape poison blow,

immediately dodge the floor which has poison wave markings.
Casting time is fast, immediate evacuation is necessary.

Boss fells down as well as a release of a 4 cornered poison wave and drags to the side afterwards.
Move to side to avoid being in hit by the attack.

Boss sways two (2) times and slams the ground.
Hits hard but easy to avoid.

Tiles turns into purple as a form of attack which blows into some average amount of damage. Numerous patterns are used as the fight lengthens.
Immediately go into the non-glowing tile.

Boss attacks can cause poison ticks, find this glowing pillar near the 4 corners and get into them. It removes the poison buff status.

Boss slams the ground and releases poison wave. This attack is casted for consecutive 4-5x.
Side step to avoid the waves.

Boss cast this attack during every end of its bar (supposedly but not to UBER DPS party).
It has 2 patterns of attack. First pattern (figure above), poison tiles rotates the whole side.
Move to the non-glowing tile in a counter-clockwise manner till the glowing stops.

Second pattern (above), the whole area except one tile is filled with glowing poison and explodes in a couple of seconds.  Go to the non-glowing tile and wait for it to explode.
It is very predictable and easy to avoid, press (tab) to toggle your weapons
for easy running for non-warrior class.

Poison status shown above your head, shows impending cast of small poison bombs in your way.
Avoid getting steady and always move.

Another poison buff status, avoid getting close to your party members
as they will suffer a huge amount of damage when they enter/touch the poison circles.
Cannot be cured. Wait till the buff is gone.
